General Information on Flight Training
Private Pilot License (PPL)
In our Flying School we have developed a comprehensive Private Pilot License program, which includes everything that an aspiring professional pilot will need to launch a successful commercial pilot career. The PPL course includes 46 hours of Ground Lessons and 40 hours of flying with 4 hours of basic instrument work, 3 hours of night and 10 hours of cross country.
Instrument Rating (IR)
This rating enables a pilot to fly solely with the reference to the instruments, in weather conditions that a pilot holding a PPL cannot fly. To be eligible for Instrument Rating a member holding PPL should complete 50 hrs of PIC cross-country time. The course consists of 35 hrs of flight time and 32 hours of ground training. To raise the instrument flying skills & for days when the weather is not feasible to fly, we are also equipped with Elite flight simulators.
Multi Rating
EAS has a PA44 Piper Seminole. The training forms part of CPL syllabus, however this rating can also be attained by members with just PPL license, by flying minimum 15 hrs multi towards the training.
CPL
Training is conducted in real time commercial environment, with exposure to international airport procedures, radiotelephony and operations of international commercial standards. The CPL course is fine tuned to cater for all airlines in the aviation industry. Flight requirement consists of 200 hrs total time, 100 hrs Pilot in Command, and 15 hrs of Multi, besides others modules, as per syllabus
Conversion Of License
EFS will assist members who have obtained licenses from other ICAO contracting states, to convert their foreign license to UAE PPL by imparting both flight and ground training. Members are required to pass UAE Air Law exam, UAE medical and PPC flight check for conversion.
Renting Of Aircraft
After obtaining the UAE license, the school helps the members to build their flight time by renting the aircrafts. UAE has six international airports, which can be utilized for cross-country flights.
Ground Classes
Instructor conduct detailed preflight and post- flight briefings. No extra cost is charged for these briefings. However any students requiring one to one ground classes with an Instructor will be charged at AED 100/hr. Booking will be made depending upon the flight schedule of the Instructor. Books, Manuals, Navigation Charts and other pilot accessories can be purchased from the School Pilot Shop.
 
Timing
Seven Days a week, 0830 hrs to 1730 hrs as per the slot timings [10:30-12:30, 13:30-15:30, 15:30 -17:30].

Required night flying will be scheduled as per sunset times
